Wedding colors

I thought I'd love to be a wedding planner. But after planning my own wedding, there is no way in hell I ever want to do this again! 

No joke! I imagine it's much harder to try to please someone else, as well, rather than just pleasing yourself and your partner. 

I used to be an assistant to a wedding planner.  It's not really a job for a creative person.  We had to do exactly what the brides wanted, even if they had horrible taste and no sense.  It's mostly organising things and smiling at brides while they scream at you.  I'm pretty sure the whole experience is what's responsible for my own wedding being so low-key.

  I love low-key weddings. I thought mine was perfect, and there was so little stress and planning involved! (Even though what little planning there was ended up being a bit stressful because I was also working, attending 4 grad classes and writing my thesis!  ) I can't imagine putting together a big, expensive production. I suppose it could be fun if you had a lot of time on your hands and plenty of money!
