Does anyone know of any nice american style diners in london? I want a good burger and milkshake.  I live in south east london

They're really a BBQ restaurant (the hotdogs are amazing!!) but the burgers are out of this world good :)

Tinsletown!  I think the nearest tube station is Farringdon.
