Are there any websites that show floorplans for flats?

I know, America has spoiled me with copious amount of available information. But I have been looking at primelocation and rightmove and while they all have loads of listing, most have maybe 3 pictures if I am lucky, and none have any floorplans.

I'd like to get an idea of the space I'll working with and as such, what if any household items I could look to bring across with me.

Any flats for rent/sale websites out there that have floorplans?

Sometimes estate agents/letting agents have floor plans on their own website listings. You should be able to find links to the relevant agents from the ads you are viewing on rightmove etc.

In my area, Right Move has tons of floor plans and most have 5 or so pics minimum.  Floor plans are in a non-obvious place though.  A link mid page.

It might just be your area.

Sara, I dunno, I have looked through several listings and I don't see any floor plans, maybe I am missing the non-obvious location of the links 

Many letting agents don't bother.

'Generally' speaking 90-95% of listings won't give a floor plan, and a similar level for mentioning 'Sq FT'

When you see listings for buying a new build, then in the adverts online you 'might' see a floorplan, but for re-sale or older properties just usually isn't done. As mentioned, might be the 'area' but with the amount of poking around I do for property I've not come across many that do.

It's just the convention here, if/when you see sq ft mentioned in my area publications/listings they tend to all 'fanfare' of '2000 sq ft' and usually cost in the region of £600,000 + !

Theres other threads here, and I dont know what your budget is and will stretch to as you may well be able to afford a 'very large' place - but again 'very generally' - don't bring your king size bed, and any larger bedroom furniture etc as flats/houses here are much smaller in size.

where abouts are you thinking of moving to here?

Sara, ok I see what you mean, unfortunately almost all the listings I looked at didn't have floorplans. And from what DtM posted below you, no floorplans/no sq footage seems to be the norm. Damn we are spoiled in America haha.

I am looking at west London (Ealing, Acton, Chiswick, Kensington etc.), basically I am looking for the following:

-a nice modernly appointed studio or 1 bedroom, preferably furnished (at the very least a bed, as I am selling/storing all my things here in the US), wood floors
-in the most single young professional friendly section of West London that I can afford with good access to the A40 so that I can head out to Marlow everyday,
-but close enough to central London that I head into the heart of the city any weeknight or weekend that the spirit takes me (which will probably be often),
-but also with a nice enough scene in the neighborhood that I don't always have to leave to somewhere else for a good time.

I am budgeted for up to 900pcm, hopefully something with all or most bills paid to reduce my headache of getting settled.

You will easily get a one bed or studio for £900 pcm.  Well, maybe not in Kensington, but certainly in Ealing or Chiswick.
