Life in the UK Corrections

Owing to several intrepid nitpickers, I have made some corrections to the sample 'Life in the UK' test on Transpondia.

1.  Although the Queen has *reigned* since 1952, the coronation itself took place in 1953.  In 1952, the *accession* took place upon the death of her father; the coronation took place in the following year.  To repeat:  The coronation of our current monarch took place in 1953.  In nineteen hundred and fifty-three, QE2 our Queen did be...

2.  At age 16, many young people take the GCSE's, not as it previously appeared GSCE.  Good Children Save Everything.  GCSE.  Age 16.  Got it?

1953 and GCSE.

Nice one garry.  Your site is a great resource.  GSCE was hardly going to make a difference on a multiple choice test though..
