tier 1 visa processing
« on: April 16, 2009, 07:05:54 PM »
Hello,

I have a general question about the visa processing times. Does it take longer to process a tier 1 visa application that is inclusive of the migrant and 2 dependents? We did receive the '"application in process" email two times as a matter of fact, but each application has the same email listed as a contact.

Don't mean to hijack, but my question is sort of related: do all tier 1 applicants get an "application in progress" email? I sent my application in before March 30, and I know UKBA signed for it and cashed the cheque, but I haven't heard anything at all from them directly.

They say that Chicago is pretty good about sending the "application in process" email, but as far as the other cities are concerned, I am not sure. Sometimes the email can be sorted into Spam, so you may want to check that as well. I have seen on these boards that some people say they never receive the email and had their visas processed just fine... I hope that helps some.
