Car Insurance
« on: April 27, 2009, 03:40:56 AM »
I've just been issued my Spousal Visa and I will be arriving in England on May 1st.

Now, when my husband got car insurance with our current provider, he told them he would be needing to add an 'American Driver' to the policy before the year was up.  He recently called the car insurance provider to add me onto the policy just a few days ago.  However, they are now saying they cannot insure me because I've not be a resident for 4 years or something like that.

Has anyone run into this issue?  Can anyone recommend an insurance provider who will insure an American?

Thank you.

Try going to 'advance forum search' and you will find plenty of information that you need.
example:
've been trying to get some quotes for insurance but most companies are refusing to  ...
...  me what companies they were able to get insurance through before getting a UK license.

OK I'm trying to find more info. for you.
Look under "Finding Auto insurance"
