Baby Einstein DVDs

David & I noticed last night, with Philip sitting on his daddy's lap, that he seemed awfully interested in watching England play Croatia. Guessing this was more about the moving images on screen rather than an early sports addiction (his dad disagrees with me on this one) - I pulled out the Baby Mozart & Baby Beethoven DVDs we got as gifts a while back - and Philip looooooooooooooves it! He's mesmerized by them, coos at the screen, smiles and laughs at it... so we let him "play" with the DVD in the morning before he turns into the cranky-poo-monkey-of-death, and he seems quite pleased. As are we. 4 thumbs up... two of them being very tiny thumbs indeed.

We have Mozart, Bach and Beethoven, but Niall doesn't seem interested.  He is the theme tune baby.  Regardless of what he's doing, he stops dead every time he hears a theme tune (Corrie, Eastenders, etc), listens to it, then goes back along his merry way.  Odd child is our Niall.

He's also starting to recognise children and babies.  Each time he sees one in person or on TV, he says, "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"  It's so cute.

We have the whole set and the twins loved them! Even the teenagers and I did too! When we first got them and put them on we all thought they were a bit "freaky" but soon got used to them. Of course, now they are really too old for them, but still ask to watch all the animal ones. We had a few of the puppets, books and flash cards too. I think the series is well worth the money.

Aw. babies.  Emily liked listening to the Grateful Dead and the Neighbours theme tune.     Lizzy was a Neil Young fan and Molly like the theme from Friends.

That is so cute!!!  My friend's kids like the N'Sync and Rap.  My kids are going to messed up between Richard and I!!!!  I think I will be getting all the Baby Einstein's though, I've heard they are great!

We're now into the Baby Newton, Baby Van Gogh and Neighborhood Animals. They are excellent. Even my 5 year-old loves to watch them with the two younger ones. They wore out the Baby Mozart cassette.

I know, I'm so proud!

I tried Alexander on Baby Einstein, but he was none to interested as well. He loves MTV2 and Kerrang... What can I say? I have a rocker baby. 

I have never heard of the Eiestine things, but Juliona is a theme baby too she dances to eastenders and home and away (cuz mommy watches them 2) she also loves the mortgage adverts with the little house, telephone and the dog.
