I didn't particularly like his voice but, like Stacey, I never really saw the smug. Of course, I haven't watched in the past 3-4 weeks, so maybe the smug developed over time.

I knew Allison went home last week. That was plain WRONG. But I guess I must have missed Lil going home.

You know, I would be surprised if Adam does win.  While I think he's generally a better singer than Kris (when he isn't channeling his inner diva), I can see Kris getting the votes simply because he isn't Adam, you know?

I mean, last year everyone was fairly sure Archiecomics had it in the bag and we all know how that turned out.

Although, I have to admit, I'm only looking forward to the final because some friends and I are getting together to drink and make fun of everyone.  Should be a great time.

That's possible, I suppose. If I were in the US, my little fingers would be very busy doing just that! But I still have a hunch Adam will win. But then I don't really have a sense of what the US press is saying, so I am a bit removed from it all.

Well, I think Danny v Adam would have been a much more interesting finale.  I would rather see Allison against Adam.  I don't think Kris is all that interesting.  I wish I was there too to watch Eurovision.  I really enjoyed watching that.

Interestingly, the US media seems to care about as much as we do.  There is nowhere near as much hoopla this year as there has been in the past few.  Although, maybe I don't watch the right TV shows or read the right magazines.

I think you might be right about that. And, America does love their mediocre singer/songwriter types and Kris definitely fits that bill, IMO.

She's probably being stoic and sucking it up so she can live off her husband's fame.  Or, she's like I would probably be and is more than happy to stay out of the limelight.

I have a feeling that Simon is right.  There might be a bit of an upset with all the Kris fans out there.  Adam is clearly the better singer.  I will have my dialing fingers on and make sure to vote as many times for Adam as I can.

I have no issues with the eyeliner ... in fact, I love a man who can wear makeup! My issues are with Adam. I can't stand his voice, and actually do think Kris is a better singer.
