For the most part, I love trying the new candy around here (as my ever expanding waistline will prove) but man, do I miss me some Flipz.  Not enough to ask for a shipment to be sent, but enough to ask people to bring them if they are already flying over.

I love Flipz (and chocolate covered pretzels in general)!! My best friend brought over 6 bags for me when she came for a visit, sadly, all long gone by now.  :) It is so expensive to have people send stuff over to you, much better to just get it on your visits back or have someone bring something when they come to visit you.

*sigh*...and that's not likely to happen any time soon.  :(

I do have people visiting in the fall, and my father is already sending a box of stuff I need over...hmm, if the flipz fit!

They used to sell Flipz here in the UK in the 90's (you could buy milk and white chocolate ones, I think), but sadly they were discontinued a few years ago :(.

Aren't Flipz just chocolate covered pretzels? Is there something extra special about them? If not, you could just make your own. I make choco-pretzels all the time. Mmmm!

Flipz are really good, but I don't know if they're any better than any other chocolate covered pretzel.  What kind of chocolate do you use to make yours?

Just the regular old craft dipping chocolate. It's surprisingly good and melts in the microwave.
