I have bought peroxide from the chemist before

you shouldn't need a uk version.......

It was in a brown bottle....

The Boots I went to didn't have it, but a local, independent one did.

Careful, most hydrogen peroxide in the UK is 6% in the US it is only 3%.

Careful, most hydrogen peroxide in the UK is 6% in the US it is only 3%. 

Our Boots store sells in in 3%, 6% and 9%, but it is kept behind the counter, off the shop floor, so that it is not visible on the shelves. We are being more cautious about selling it at the moment because of it being bought from a pharmacy by the 'Bristol Bomber' who was sentenced recently and the possibility of mystery customers trying to find out how easy it would be to buy for that purpose.
