Britain's Next Top Model

Yeah, I watch it and I'm not ashamed either!

But serious WTF? Jade getting eliminated?!? She was blatantly the best model by miles, and it was only the fact that she was recovering from Anorexia that she didn't win. In my view the show has been completely unfair to her. If her previous eating disorder was going to be the reason she was eliminated then she shouldn't have made the cut onto the show in the first place! If that was going to be the only reason she was eliminated, they should have recognised that she needed more time to build up her weight, instead what they did was allow her to get nearly to the end, praise her all the way along for her flawless photos and then decide at the end that she wouldn't have enough stamina to make it?

Really, really disappointed at how the producers dealt with the issue. Either don't let her participate or treat like everyone else in the competition!

***for those who don't watch the show, she was in recovery from Anorexia and had continually been putting on weight thoroughout the show, it would have been a different story had her weight been decreasing.

I agree completely. Jade performed the best, but for the judges and the show to make a statement about her weight during the final three was stupid.

As I say, I think she was the best model ... but she was far too thin. Her body didn't often photograph well, unless it was sort of camouflaged. I think they should have rejected her at the beginning on that basis, told her to gain some weight and come back next year. But they shouldn't have let her compete, praised her every week, and then dumped her for being too thin.

Having said all that, I'm glad Mecia beat out Sophie at the end. As much as I abhor Tyra Banks, I do sort of like that they're harsher on the models than the BNTM judges are. I can't help but think that Tyra & Co. would have had a few things to say about Sophie's complexion and all the time/money it would take to retouch all her shots. The girl had the worst crater face! And they probably also would have beaten that awful accent out of Mecia so she could do commercials.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who watched!  ;D
