Anyone else looking forward to the football season starting?  I never used to like football, but now it feels familiar and feels like home and I enjoy it.

Go Bengals. (hometown pride)

The American football season actually started on Friday morning at 1:30am when Tennessee & Pittsburgh kicked off.  I won't spoil it for you by telling you who won.  :)

And in answer to your original question, yes I am happy that American football season has started, and go Cowboys!!

Was that not pre-season  camo?  I could be totally wrong. it's a bit disorientating when you dont have tv/radio commercials and billboards to tell you its all kicked off. haha.

I never used to follow football, but it's comforting in a way now I find.

Cincinnati (my hometown) plays Denver on Sunday 1pm EST or 6pm our time.

Now the question is, how do I watch the game without TV? can you watch on the net?

ETA:  NM, found the option on the NFL website.  Hopefully they wont have any troubles with the region.

Nope, that one counted.  The schedule in week one is weird, with a Thursday night game and two Monday night games.

As long as a game is not going to be broadcast on TV in the UK you can watch it with NFL Game Pass (https://gamepass.nfl.com/nflgp/secure/registerform), which it sounds like you may have already found.

And you can see what games are going to be on TV in the UK here:  http://www.nfluk.com/tvschedule.html

The Cincinatti/Denver game isn't on TV in the UK, so you'll have to watch it on the interweb.  :)

adios,
Carl

I'm not really a fan, but I don't mind having a game on and certainly enjoy the food and fun associated with watching (much to the detriment of my waist!).

Go Ravens!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
