So is anyone else watching this week worth of episodes?  A bit late I know to be posting this seeing as its already finished 4 of the 5 episodes.

Thoughts, squees, anguish???  I don't want to post details just yet unless I'm the only one watching (doubtful though).   ;)

Ianto is dead...that sucks! I loved the banter between him & Jack and the evolution of his character from basically the butler to a full fledged member of Torchwood. First Owen, then Tosh now Ianto? Please don't take Gwen & Rhys...and we know Jack doesn't die until about the year 3,000,000, but that was just his face :-\\\\

I know!  I can't quite believe it either!  Well it all hangs on tonight's episode...never know what'll happen!

Its just like all of a sudden they've unfolded his life and then snatched it all out!  Not fair as like you said Ianto went from basically being the butler to actually having a personality.   :P

Has anyone else wondered this...where the heck is the Doctor? You know...protector of the Earth?!?

Kind of, but then again this is Torchwood, not Dr. Who...  :-\\\\

I want to know what they do with the kids exactly...you know why they've connected them...and why they want (need?) more?   :P

I never got past the first few episodes (of the first series) of this - think I could still get into it?
They're advertising this as a mini-series on BBC America soon, and I always did have a spot for Capt. Jack ;)

So yes, you could watch this season without having watched the others as the seasons run on independent story-lines.  Yes, there are the bits of background info in previous seasons, but not necessarily essential to follow the show.   ;)

Tonight: 5/5

Very heavy episode, quite depressing.  It seems like they've turned the character of Captain Jack completely on himself!  Quite a naff ending.

Oh, FFS.  >:(

Monday-Wednesday: Best ever (IMO) eps of TW.

Thursday: WTF, TW...WTF.

Friday: I seriously cannot decide whether or not RTD has outdone himself here - lamer ending than S3 DW's sparkly!Jesus!Doctor?  YOU DECIDE.

Oh no!  I've been watching this week on BBC America; the conclusion is tonight... and have been enjoying it, though I will say last night I found myself finding a ton of plotholes, even for a SciFi show... and now I'm reading the conclusion doesn't make it any better?!  :-\\\\
