Any one else do this??!

YES! It's been all British all the time at my house. I downloaded Gavin and Stacey and must have watched it 25 times in the past few months. I also like Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogs, Love Actually, and, lately, Doctor Who.

Gawd...I watched "The Holiday"" last night, and it made me extra sad because Jude Law and my df have the same mannerisms and voice, even the little intonations. It made me miss my darling wayyyy too much.

 If he ever reads this he will kill me for comparing him to Jude Law, he's not a fan.

sheateawholepie - I am a huge Doctor Who fan. I have been watching the new episodes since season 1, and some of the older original ones as well. I love it! I also love to watch Coupling, cheesy EastEnders, and of course Top Gear.

dangerface- I watched "The Holiday" last night as well...lol. It's probably this discussion about sappy British movies that got me in the mood for it. Jude Law's voice and mannerisms reminds me of my bf's as well. Makes me miss him even more.

I find that when I watch the shows Tim likes, or the ones he and and I watched together, it makes me feel better.  Tonight, I fell asleep watching Black Books (didn't even get through episode 1!). We also love Doctor Who, Torchwood, Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes, Hyperdrive, Red Dwarf, Bleak House, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Supersizers, and Top Gear. 

dangerface I find the same thing with Colin Firth and my fiance. They have similar mannerisms and when watching him especially in Bridget Jones two he reminds me of my fiance and it makes me sad...but it reminds me of him...it is really nice to know there are other women out there doing the same thing and I am not completely crazy...but my fiance admits that sometimes he will be watching an american show and someone on there will remind him of me...so it goes both ways
