Hi,
My husband and I are working on his settlement visa application (he's Canadian, I'm dual Canadian/British). I am currently employed as a graduate student in the US, but we are moving to the UK in September so I can start a new job as a postdoctoral researcher in October. The application asks about my current employment, as the sponsor. It won't let me put down my employment in the UK with the October start date as that date is in the future. But it also doesn't really make sense to put down my graduate student employment as that is ending before we move and really has nothing to do with our settling in the UK. Should we just put down the current employment as graduate student and make a note of my future UK employment and salary? There also doesn't seem to be a lot of room to type in the box for additional information so I'd have to be pretty concise there.
Thanks for any advice you can offer!
Charmaine
