I'm a Mac, but DH recently installed it on his PC and ended up uninstalling it immediately afterwards. He did not have kind words to say about it! I could ask him for more info.

I have the RC installed on one of my computers that dual-boots with XP. I liked it a little bit better than Vista, but that's about all I can say. I think it compared to Vista will be in the same boat as XP compared to ME. I did like they made the 64bit version the default, but it does suck that some of the more common software items (e.g. Flash player) don't really have a 64bit version yet (which means it will be a PITA for some to install).

He had Vista on before, if that's what you mean. I'm pretty thick about this PC stuff, that's why I use a Mac!  :)

I think if it'll really be like Me compared to XP, it'll be a huge jump forward. I remember what an abortion of an OS Me was. Almost entirely unusuable.

lol..I don't know what you expected. Not like the installation CD made your computer explode and then kill your family. Did it??? (No, I'm curious..I've heard stories!   :o )

No, WinME (what an insidious abbreviation!) didn't have any secret messages. MS Bob, OTOH.....I swear that dog whispered at times to kill certain people!

ETA to fix link

That I don't recall, but I can imagine how hilarious it may have been.
