I am a dual national Brit/American who will be moving to London at the end of August.  I work for an investment bank in NYC and will be doing an intra company transfer (local move, so I will be paid in £). 

Actually, it is a full circle for me as I grew up in England before moving to the States.  I have been lurking for a few weeks now and have found this site to be very useful.

Hi there, welcome!  I'm from NYC, moved here last year to live with my DH.  Where did you grow up in the UK?  How did you come to be a dual national? 

Thanks for the welcome.  I grew up in Shepards Bush and Harrow.  I am a dual national because I was born in the UK (before the Immigration Law of 1981) and became a naturalised US citizen about 12 years ago.
