UCAS - if you have questions
« on: January 12, 2005, 03:46:10 AM »
I've just sent off my application to UCAS  (the universities and colleges admissions service) which is "the central organisation that processes applications for full-time undergraduate courses at UK universities and colleges."  www.ucas.com

It's a very easy process to apply for University and as best I understand, if you are going to apply for undergrad you have to use UCAS.  I figure I've not got much of a chance of getting in, but I will keep you posted about how fast it takes to hear a response and how I do.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me.

UPDATE:

Thanks for the kind sentiment, Ginge!

I heard back from one of the Universities yesterday (about three weeks) with an unconditional offer!  I have applied to 6 universities altogether, and the first to get back was my sort of safety choice.  I will keep you updated.

I would also like to say thanks to  chrishamil10, ny2uk, howard, balmerhon, and anyone else i've forgotten.

You guys gave me some encouraging words and much needed confidence when I needed it and look at me now!  Woohoo!!  I'm a Student!!!!

now....for the financial aid.

thanks everyone,

trisha

Congrats!

And don't worry about the financial aid - it's a pain, but don't take no for an answer!
