I would say it depends on where you are going to be working what type of property you wish to buy how much you can spend, We are looking at selling our house, which is 5/6 bed 2 receptions ect its on the classifieds on this site.

But Redditch is close to so much including Stratford/Worcester/Birmingham/Solihul/ and close to the motorway (10/15minute drive) if you want to go further afield, we are 30 minutes away from Birmingham airport ect and have some wonderful sights and historical areas not to far to drive either and the schools are good.

It really depends on what you want and where your work is and how much you can afford to pay in buying a property or renting one really.

Good luck
Wanting to sell and move to the US with my family, anyone wanting to move to the Worcestershire area please fell free to contact me.

I think Lichfield would be nice in that area - old cathedral town - but it's difficult to say without more info on why you're moving there!

I live in Redditch and I love it!!! It is super close to everything, loads of easy access to motorways.  I think my husband used Right Move, or Your Move to purchase the house.  Other areas around Redditch are nice too- Alcester, Bromsgrove.... All convenient to Birmingham.

Good luck with your move!!!
