Anyone need a FREE wedding photographer?
« on: March 27, 2008, 09:33:31 AM »
Hi everyone,

I'm an American in London, and I have a (fledgling) portrait photography business.  I specialize in babies and children but am interested in photographing a wedding.  I am willing to offer my services for free in exchange for permission to use images from the shoot on my website.  You would receive edited digital images on a CD, or I would be willing to order prints for you from my pro lab at cost.  I'd prefer to work with a couple who either already have a photographer and would allow me to be a "second shooter" (you would have to get approval from your photographer for this; some will not like the idea!), or a couple who were not planning to have a professional photographer and would be willing to take a chance on a novice (I'm a novice to weddings, not to photography in general!).

If you or someone you know might be interested in this, would you please be in touch with me?  You can view my portrait photography here:

I can be contacted through the contact form on my website.

Thanks!

Jade

Well I may be interested...we are on a very tight budget with the costs of visa ect!!! We plan on marrying in July....Can't promise to be as cute as the kids pictures you take tho!  We were looking at having photos taken at Winchester Cathedral through a friend (even tho we are getting married at the Registry Office) thought we would trick a bit of glam into the day...  So I am right in thinking that we will have the digital images provided on a CD that we can also use however we choose?? i.e get our own prints done ect?? and how do you guarantee that we will get the images?

I am a US citizen moving to the UK for school. I'll be in london while my fiance (american) stays in the US. I am traveling back to the US to marry in January and then he will move to London with me.

I am very sad that I wont be able to do bridals at the wedding location because I'll be in school in London but I thought perhaps I can get some bridals done in London and then take them back for the wedding to display. Would you be interested in doing bridals?

I am a photographer and going to graduate school in photography so I can help out if you aren't familiar with the process but your gallery looks great, you definitely have an eye for photography!

We plan to marry in mid december or January, I would definately be interested!  We had no photography plans yet, this is going to be a very small wedding about 30 people.  I would be more than ok with using a novice, and your photos look great.
