I really wish I could have ended up as a parent that didn't let their kids watch TV until they were older.  I think its a great goal. 

Honestly, I think the only parents who succeed at keeping young children away from TV are people who don't really watch TV themselves.  The best the rest of us can hope for is to limit how much they watch, and try to make it as stimulating/educational as we can.

I don't know how you do it Geeta!  I would be lost without ANTM, X-Factor, Strictly and all the other crap I watch.  No wonder my kid loves TV.
