When I've told Brits I'm from Kentucky, they immediately think KFC! ::) They don't know where it's at, but I guess they know all about that 'finger-lickin good' chicken. I don't even like the place. :-X

HAHAHA!! That's so funny!  I tell brits I'm from Philadelphia..and people either start singing the Will Smith-Fresh Prince of Bel-Air song, or tell me that they like cream cheese.  Thank God I at least like Fresh Prince & Philadelphia Cream Cheese! :P

Haha! That's funny too.
Well I'm from Seattle, but most people don't know that's where Starbucks started. My DB was so excited when I took him to the first one EVER! Haha!

I'm from Philadelphia, too.  They always mention the cream cheese which I think is gross.  And Rocky, which is sort of cool.  One woman I know loves the old movie with Katherine Hepburn "Philadelphia Story".  I did have to explain all of Philly is not like the Main Line 'burbs!

My Father, does that to my DW all the time, she is from Marlow and just because we fly in and out of London doesn't mean that we spend all our time there.  We have been married for going on 7 years, you would think that he would get the idea sometime, but then again he still calls my girl dog a boy.  ALL THE TIME! I even pick her up to show him that she doesn't have those bits.
Haikus are easy.
But sometimes they don't make sense.

My grandpa used to do that all the time. And it always makes me laugh at how many people ask about dogs, "What's his name?"
