Eurostar and passport control

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew whether they stamp passports when going to Paris on the Eurostar, and then on return to the UK?  Thanks!

Yes, and yes.  You'll actually have your passport stamped before you get on the train (so you'll get your France stamp in London, and your return UK stamp in Paris.)
Now a triple citizen!

Student visa 9/06-->Int'l Grad Scheme 1/08-->FLR(M) 7/08-->ILR 6/10-->British citizenship 12/12

During my trip in Europe, I have found border control on the continent to be lax. I haven't showed anyone my passport yet and I went to three countries :P
09/29/09--Visa Approved!
10/05/09--Leave for the UK!!!
06/15/12--Back in the US indefinitely...

If they were Schengen countries, you wouldn't have to. If you had a "Schengen Zone" visa, you were covered for all 25 countries. The border control is exercised once only when entering or leaving the zone.

Austria
Belgium
Czech Republic
Denmark
Estonia
Finland
France and Monaco
Germany
Greece
Hungary
Iceland
Italy
Latvia
Lithuania
Luxembourg
Malta
Netherlands
Norway
Poland
Portugal
Slovakia
Slovenia
Spain
Sweden
Switzerland (Abolished border checks by land and sea on December 12, 2008 and implemented Schengen to include airports by March 1, 2009.)

Quote from: Wikipedia
A typical Schengen border crossing has no border control post and only a common EU-state sign welcoming the visitor, as here between Germany and Austria. The sign announces entry to the Federal Republic of Germany in German
