I know I can use my US Drivers License for up to a year from the time I become a resident in the UK.   Is that my date of arrival?
What if I were to be here "temporarily" for 3-years for the duration of the visa...etc...
Does that matter or makes no difference? ???

Just wondering...     it's basically like starting from scratch after a year, even if you've been driving for a decade...  :-\\\\

It should be the day you arrived here on a visa to stay basically long-term.  What visa do you have and what day was it stamped?
