Tracking UPakWeShip Shipment?

I've booked my stuff to be shipped with uPakWeShip on the 29th, for arrival the first week/second week of February.   I'm having a problem with one of their websites and it concerns me.  Originally I was told to go to http://www.go-pelican.com to find out insurance options.  The site would not load for me, and Comcast popped up their site that said the site didn't exist.  I emailed the company and they sent me a different site to look at for insurance.

I notice that the "track your shipment" link on my confirmation PDF also goes to go-pelican.com and I still can't get to the site from Comcast. I haven't asked Tim to try yet from Orange, but I assume if one ISP says the domain doesn't exist, it doesn't exist.

For those of you who have used UPakWeShip, how did you track your shipment?  Did go-pelican work for you or did they provide an alternative option? I'm really not looking forward to the possibility of not being able to track my stuff once it leaves on the 29th!

I used UpakWeship as well. The insurance info wouldn't load for me either - so I had to ask them specifically and they sent a page of the info embedded in an email. Tracking the package is tricky. You need your consignement number for Upak, and then they usually send an email with the number from the ship. They track by number. I can't remember the website (I deleted the link when my stuff arrived) but it was something like Utrack?
Just make sure that if you have anything valuable, that it gets unpacked when the guys are still there, inspect closely, and if there is damage make sure it's noted by the delivery guys. I unpacked everything myself after the guys left, and something was slightly damaged - the insurance company didn't pay because there was no notation on the delivery slip. :-[ Live and learn...

Which level of insurance did you get? I was told that with my level (silver) all I need to do is take pictures of damaged items, including if the box is damaged.

I'm thinking I got the silver too (one up from the basic)... I suppose I could fight it - but it just didn't seem worth it in the end.

Good luck tracking the package. I wasn't able to do so at all even though I was told I would be able to.  I emailed the man handling my shipment a few times and he was able to give me updates before it was put on the ship and after it was off the ship, but when it was on the ship, somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic, he couldn't tell me anything.  You do know that this will take upwards of 6 weeks, so I would try to not worry about tracking it when you know the journey is a drawn out one.
