I must admit I do miss the tins of Quality Street this time of year!

Can't you get them?? Big shops like Macy's used to always have them with the Christmas stuff - like near the big displays of Godiva gift boxes, etc. Have a look! I can't imagine CT is too different from RI ... unless they don't even sell them in RI anymore.

I haven't had QS for years but you guys are making me want some. Have you seen the giant QS?

Due to losing my job and no longer working in an office, I have not had ANY QS or Roses, or indeed... ANY chocolate at all for weeks!!

oh btw... by this i just meant that when you're not surrounded by it, you don't think about it!  :)

The maple one probably isn't really maple.  I should probably look at the pack.  It just sort of tastes mapley to me.

that's probably the fudge... in a pink wrapper?

I'm more of a Roses fan than a Quality Street fan but we've had two large tins of QS at work the last few days. My favourites are the green triangle, the orange and strawberry ones and the purple caramel one :).

I always think about chocolate :P... I'm a big chocoholic though (don't think I can even go a day without having something with chocolate in it!).

I've never thought about it before, but the fudge does have a mildly maple-y flavour!

I think I prefer QS, but both are good. My ideal would be to have a giant tin mixing my favourites of the two together - and leaving out all the sickly-sweet fruit ones.

The purple one is the best. No question. But I also really like the green triangle, the coconut eclair and the caramel swirl. The fruit ones are icky and usually wind up sitting in the tin all lonely for a few weeks before getting thrown away.

A woman after my own heart we liked the same kinds of QS I don't really care the fruit or sickly sweet ones either!!  but Dh's friends wife loves them so we save them for her.

None of my IN-Laws like the coconut ones so they all save them for me I'm the only in the family who likes coconut!!  ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

I have to agree with Chary I prefer QS to Roses but his year all we cud get was a big tin of Roses from ASDA. we cud have gotten the smaller tubes of QS but we would have had to pay more for 2 smaller containers of QS I just couldn't justify spending more an getting less than we would for the bigger tin of Roses. we were trying to hold out an not get any big tins this year but sadly last Thursday we did our Christmas shop an we caved in an bought a big tin of Roses so that's why we couldn't get the QS cause we waited to long!!  ::)  :P

I know what you mean KSand24 I am such a huge chocoholic myself I dream about chocolate now since I cant have it as often as I used too. I can only have 1 small piece of chocolate per day now so I leave it for after my evening meal I think about it all day too lol!!   ::) :P  but this Christmas my 1 piece a day is going out the window temporarily lol!!  ;)  :D

I love the Toffee Penny (gold wrapper) and Toffee Deluxe (brown wrapper).  Yummy!! :) But to be honest other than the Strawberry one there are none I would turn away.  ;)

The toffee penny is my fave.  :)
