Anyone applied to Queen Mary, University of London?
« on: December 08, 2009, 06:17:14 AM »
I'm getting ready to submit my Queen Mary application (online) for English Literature, and I can't figure out what they want for the letters of reference. They require me to "upload" (file) at least one reference upon submission of the application. Does this mean they want me to get a general letter from my professor and then have that professor email it to me, and then I upload the .doc myself? That just seems strange, because of the forgery possibilities. I don't see what else it could be? But I can only find further requirements for the Law department of Queen Mary (headed paper, name, program, etc).

Anyone have any ideas? I'd greatly appreciate some input, I have to get these last few apps in within the next 48 hours if I want my professors to write letters.

This is probably late...but I sent a letter of recommendation from my English professor and gave them his contact information without hinge. Doesn't seem formal enough, I know, but I felt the same way when they asked me to fax/email my transcripts. It boggled my mind that they didn't mind that they weren't sealed.  ;)
