Has anyone seen both The Thick of It episodes and the movie In the Loop?
I'm curious to know why certain characters from the series were cast in the movie with the same name and role from the series, but other characters were cast with different names and roles. And sometimes they even crossed party lines!
It was OK for me, but I can see how it could make things really confusing. What do you think the reason was for this wacko casting? For example, the Malcolm and Jamie characters were both the same. But the Terry character was actually working for the party (under a different name) as opposed to being a civil servant, and at the end they had the Claire Ballentine character with her assistant - the guy from the opposition party in the series!
Just wondering what people thought of this.
