Ok Lost on where everyone is...

Why are some of the dots different colors?

Yeah I saw the map but I got a very blonde moment and it looked like a bunch of dots - Now of course I didn't hold my mouse over to see the town

Is it just my computer, or have all of the pins shifted over? On mine there are some people living out in the ocean. I'm guessing that's wrong.

Some people just made mistakes and then never went back and fixed them. Most of the pins are where they should be, I think.

It must just be my computer then. Even mine is moved. It says London, but it's over in Devon somewhere. I promise I did not make that mistake.

How odd! I see your pin on mine and you're definitely in London.

There are a few weird ones, but those are clearly people's mistakes.

It's quite difficult to get that huge pin on the right spot on the tiny little map.  I was trying for Glasgow and ended up a bit further north on the west coast.

I think I zoomed in to place my pin, but you're right - it's not that easy. However, a few are really off! Bath and York ended up in NI and Kent is in one of the Scottish islands!

princesslemons - I closed the map and reopened it, and the pins were all shifted! Just as you said! But I refreshed the page and they promptly went back to where they belong. Did you try that?

The map I used you type in your location and it puts you there - made for the geography impaired <g>
