Hi everyone! Hope everyone is having a good start to the new year! I haven't been to the boards much in the past couple months except read a few topics now and again. We've put much of our moving plans on the back burner this winter since it is so hard to get things started in this time of year. It gave us time to think carefully about somethings too.
Anyway, out of the blue my husband is contacted by a potential employer he was talking to this fall. He's been promised a position if some contracts come through. He wants him to start within a month- hopefully we'll have a little time to get some things in order.
This has taken me totally by surprise. I was getting a bit comfortable "playing it by ear," playing the "wait and see" game. For the most part I'm excited but a little scared. So I guess we'll be sending in paperwork for my visa soon if this all falls into place and finding a place to stay. I think I will be relying on you all as we get the details ironed out on this. I have a ton of questions for you too. I just hope we are making the best decision.
