What a relief!

All taxes are done!..Just great!..Used Turbotax and it was really easy in the end. I cannot believe I was going to pay $1000 to a CPA to do my taxes!! It was easier and quicker doing it myself...plus I am now $1000 richer even before i receive my refund...(from the money I saved!).

The tricky part is the extent to which the software you used helped with the US/UK tax treaty on such things as retirement plan distributions, unemployment compensation and foreign exchange gains & losses so you avoid double taxation by the UK as well?

This is why I recommend a dual US/UK qualified tax adviser.
