can't log out!

I'm an error message of 'Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.'. Anyone else with this problem?

It may be a case of corrupt login cookies, which store session info. I would suggest deleting cookies. Instructions for various systems and browsers are here:

I've been having the same problem - but only on the home computer.  It's fine at work (just as well really!).  Will try the cookie solution.

I went back to the "uk info" part to log out, and clicked logged out last night. When I came back just today, I was still logged in. I'm confused. It's not a big deal, it's just kinda weird, because I know that I did log out, but, I'm still logged in.

I've been getting that message a lot lately, but usually when I'm trying to make a post or send a PM. In fact, it happened just now when I tried to reply to this post! I just hit the refresh thing and it's fine then. I've no idea why it's started happening all of a sudden over the past week, though.

This has happened to me a few times too, no idea why.

I think it's a database issue, sessions are stored there and there's probably some corruption in the data. I need to schedule time for maintenance as there are many tasks to be done.

However, logging out from the non-forum pages is unrelated to the sessions issue. That system is going to be updated soon and I've been working on it every spare moment.
