spouse uk visa approved!

I'm new to this community
I am naturalized U.S. citizen and husband is british we met online in Feb.2005.
engaged 2006
married in 2008
applied for visa jan -6 2010
sent of my application via mail on jan 27.2010
got a phone call from LA consulate monday morning 02-08-2010 asking about my husbands over draft and was told I am suppose to fax his dad's bank statements and a letter explaining why we havent seen eachother in 8 months.I came back from england in june 2009 to change my name last name to my married name,alot of things happen last year my husbands nan died and i couldnt be with him to comfort my husband. also I got emergency surgery.so I sent the LA consulate a letter explaining all that and why we hadnt seen eachother in so long also sent copies of time when i was in hospital and neurology appointment and reasons why i dont work. I suffer from severe migraines and chiari malformation.oh the person who called said it was a courtesy call otherwise she said I would of been denied so was nice of her to let me know.anyways I am so excited finally get to be with my brit!

Did your Husband have an overdraft in his bank account and they called to ask you about it?  I'm concerned about my husband's bank account.  He's used his overdraft a couple times recently and I'm hoping it doesn't effect our getting approved for a spouse visa.

It shouldn't...my husband was constantly going into overdraft when I applied for mine. The UK use and perception of an overdraft does not carry the stigma and negativity that it does in the US. You shouldn't have anything to be worried about.

yes they did and also because I dont work.. it shouldnt be a problem for you because my husbands overdraft was 1,000 pounds...so we had too fax in his dad's bank statement and letter of support from my parents saying they support me while in California.
