I am a USC. My husband is a UKC. He has two UKC children (mother deceased). I have a parental responsibility order in place, and plans to adopt when we move to the US.
Do I claim them as dependents on my US taxes?
He gets child tax credit (or something) for them here in the UK.
I don't want to double dip, but I don't want to miss out on an honest deduction either.
