Moving from Indiana to Cwmbran, Wales (fingers crossed)
« on: July 07, 2010, 06:01:20 PM »
Hi there! I'm hoping to move to Wales to be with my boyfriend. I have spent two months over the last nine months in Wales and I love it. We were going to try and "meet halfway" and both of us move to Toronto, but I couldn't find a job. I am a pharmacist in the states but I will need to go back to school in the UK if I want to practice. I will be sending of my Tier One application in a week after my biometrics and I will be a nervous wreck until I hear back.

I have looked up quite a few questions I had on your board and you guys have helped me out a lot. Thanks and wish me luck!

Hello and welcome!
Im from Indiana as well and am located in Bristol, so not far from where you will be. Where abouts in the Hoosier state are you from? There seems to be a good network of Americans in South Wales and Bristol that Ive recently found. They did a BBQ for the 4th of July, so please do let me know if you'd like the information.

Hi Sista -

I'm moving to Wales as well! I'll be near Newtown about two hours from where you are headed. Like you, I absolutely love it there :) Congrats on getting your visa! I'm still waiting on mine and hoping to hear any day now.

Best of luck with your move!
