Moving Photographs/Pictures/Picture Storage

I have been brainstorming on what's best to do with my pictures, and I'm hoping you all might be able to help me.

I have several discs (which can be crushed) and many- probably close to a thousand or more that I have never printed or uploaded of my pc.  Normally, I upload my pictures to Walgreens which allows you quite a bit of storage space and then I clear them once they're printed.  Sometimes I leave them on there for months and then delete.

For the photographs that are still on my hard drive, is there any website you can recommend for storage?  I prefer site to print type website- similar to Walgreen's, Target type thing (not just the websites where you only store them).  Ideally, once we get settled and I can by more photo albums, I'll be able to keep them without storing them in a box and damaging them.

Also, with the portraits, photos I already have, I will have them shipped. I'm worried about humidity or that they might get wet or damaged.  I'm considering bundling them in gallon sized zip loc bags.  Any suggestions?

Another concern I have is that I hear these horror stories about people getting in trouble for taking public pictures of their children and another child gets in the shot (have lots of those, especially with trips to the zoo) or bathtub shots when they're little and getting their bath in the sink with bubbles and very well and strategically covered- LOL...I'm just paranoid about those things because I hear yet more horror stories about that.  Perhaps it is best to get those printed first (here in the US) and worry about the others later?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Did some searching on some down time between my kids, the moving sale, and cleaning ;)  Just for future reference if someone has the same predicament, Boots has an online storage that will allow you to store pictures for up to 30 days and they also have an easy feature to upload from flickr or picasa (didn't even know about this one-it's awesome!).  I'm going to upload all my photos to picasa and print when I get established.

Anyone have any ideas about my other questions?

Also, problems with humidity and getting them shipped?

This is important to me because I take lots of pictures of my kids and don't want my precious memories to get damaged.

Thanks again for any input!
