New banking procedure

I'm no techi but I just thought I would try depositing a check to my account from home. It took along time because it was a first for me but I did it.
I'm trying to go back to paying my bills by check instead of online. I think I'm doing it for the float and also to be a pain to the banks who charge me exorbitant rates on my credit.
I know someone on here who works for the bank in Boston so she will probably chastise me. I got to hand it to her she is a loyal employee!
