"Home" US Visit - Not Having Fun :(
« on: April 07, 2010, 04:48:59 PM »
So I'm in the middle of my much-awaited visit "home" (to the US)...and I've been completely miserable the entire time!  I know the bulk of the miserable-ness has come from being 6 months pregnant.  I've been insanely tired during my entire pregnancy (and had trouble sleeping) so jet lag is multiplied by 1,000.  It's been 80F-90F here...the change in weather and the fact that I don't like heat anyway have made me extremely sluggish.  I've been more irritable than normal so even family members that always make me laugh and I always have fun with have been grating on my nerves.  My hubby wasn't able to come with me so I've been missing him.  The baby in my belly has decided to become a million times more active which is sometimes painful...and he keeps getting hiccups, which can be annoying because it literally lasts for hours.  This is probably the only time I'll be able to come back to the US until summer of 2011 (if then!)...and I'm so unhappy...I don't know what to do.  I know my family can tell how miserable I am...and I just keep blaming it on the pregnancy...but I just want to go back to my home in England.  I told my hubby the other day that I wish I had never came...this is a big FAIL.  :(

Oh that sounds so yuck!  Hope you get home soon and can just leave this trip behind you.  Good luck with the pregnancy!

That stinks that you are having no fun.  It sounds exhausting just listening to what you're dealing with.

It sounds like it has been physically and emotionally exhausting so far. Just let it be what it is. It's OK to be feeling like you do.

Are there some things you might be able to do to make it more bearable? For me, it is usually around the food!  ;D

Sending good thoughts.
