DCF question
« on: May 03, 2010, 11:24:38 PM »
Hello! I feel like the answer to this is somewhere on the board but I haven't found it in the ten pages I've gone through. Husband and I have been in the UK for six years (he is Russian) and we are on our way out in six weeks as our visas will expire. Is it too late for me to initiate DCF? He will be living in Moscow and would be able to fly to London for an interview or to pick up documents- actually he'll be applying for another visa to the UK but he has to do it from his home country. I understand it can take a long time, I'm just wondering if it is at all possible since he's finally agreed to apply for a visa to the US (probably because he thinks he can't get it now!!!).

Hmmm, I'm not too sure about the process for a spouse who's not a UK citizen. We did DCF last year, but I'm guessing things might be a bit trickier if your husband is not from the UK. Your best bet is to visit www.diveintoamerica.com or www.visajourney.com. Both sites have loads of info regarding visas to the USA. Good luck!
