Has anyone noticed that Pampers have changed recently?

My 4 year old has been wearing Pampers at night (size 5+) and he seems to be waking up SOAKED every night recently, and I have noticed that this is only with the last pack of nappies that we have bought, never before have we had leakage. This does correspond with a change in the way that Pampers looks and feels so I am assuming there is some kind of a connection there. Has anyone else had this happen to them? The size 2's for my newborn are just fine!

Just wanting to know I am not the only one!

we switched to huggies for the same reason, beast was leaking through overnight.

My 2 year old wears Pampers Baby Dry and was in size 5 then she started to get soaked at night so we just moved her up to 5+ and have had no problems. Why not try size 6? It probably has nothing to do with any changes in the nappy but more that your child is getting bigger and so their bladder is too...more for the nappy to hold, try going up to size 6  and see what happens.

You know, we noticed Jean's size 5 have been leaking overnight at times, just thought we'd put them on wonky or something.  But maybe it's the size.

Does Pampers Active fit come in a size 6? Ideally I would love for the kid to be dry at night, but that aint going to happen anytime soon! I will look for size 6! We might try some Huggies too! Glad to see it isn't just me!

Active Fit only go up to 5+ the Baby Dry go up to 6 and since you're only using them at night you shouldn't need the Active Fit properties.

I'd try a different brand. They've got a new 'formula' here and parents are up in arms about it.

I'm not sure if they've changed the higher sized nappies, but I know as of the beginning of May they changed the Newborn range to supposedly be more absorbent.  We're using the Pampers BabyDry range at night on DD at the moment as they were on a super good deal at Morrisons a while back.  Usually we would use Huggies Super Dry as they tend to fit DD better.

We stopped using Pampers on DD before she was a year old as we always had leaks with them as they just didn't seem to fit her shape very well.  However, now they seem to be ok.

I've never been a fan of Pampers.  I found that (in the US anyway) they were over priced and offered little absorbancy.  I was a Luv's fan back home because they have that baby powder smell.  The other day I had to go to a tiny grocer on the way back to the house and bought Pampers. I was surprised how thin they are.  So far, I'm not too displeased with them although they do seem different now than they were.  I still think they're overpriced and I like the Tesco brand better. 

Whenever my son started leaking out of his diaper, I knew it was time to size up.

The Pampers available in the States (new "formula" Cruisers) have been causing loads of problems for children. There have been lots of complaints about chemical burns and whatnot. I haven't had any problems with them, apart from the new limited sizing. Pampers actually seem to run small for us. In Pampers, my 2.5 year old is practically busting out of a size 6 (yes, he's a giant) and when I manage to find some size 7s (which are nearly impossible to find), I buy them up.

I've since switched to a Huggies Extra Dry overnight diaper and haven't had any problems. Huggies, along with Luvs and some generic store brands, seem to run bigger than Pampers in general.

I didn't see the whole segment, but apparently Pampers made some big changes to the Active Fit line and didn't change any packaging or give consumers any warning.  Many people are complaining about the leaks. 

I use the Pampers Baby-dry and I haven't noticed any changes.  You may want to check those out.
