People who eat a lot of spicy or strongly flavored foods tend to have a smell about them-it's the sweat. They excrete the strong odors of the fods through their glands. (This is why, for example, you might feel like you stink of garlic for days after eating it-you just might actually be stinking of garlic!

And also why alcoholics so often stink of booze even when sober.)
Incidentally, what causes "pit smell" (sorry for not having a nicer phrase) isn't sweat, it's bacteria. Hair breeds bacteria, which is why-how can I put this delicately-some of the hairier parts of your body may be more prone to odor. Keeping your pits and any other spots shaved will go far towards killing any odors. It won't end them completely, but it will make a large difference. I don't know why it isn't the norm for men to shave their armpits-it would make such a difference to us all! And might make their shirts easier to wash-does anyone else have problems with cakey man-deoderant/antiperspirant stuck permanently in the armpit areas of their t-shirts?
