Anyone in the fashion design Business ?

Hi everyone..

Is anyone employed in the fashion design business ?

I have been emailing the employment agencies with my CV but it seems that fashion design/ pattern cutter positions are extremly limited in london (judjing by all printed matter ive been reading, including Drapers magazine ) and its more about who you know than anything else it seems.

If anyone can offer any advice i would be greatfull.

Hmmm... try some of the London schools with fashion programs. I think Central St Martins is one but I'm sure there are others. These schools must have on-campus job offices that receive requests from the various employers in the area. You might have to pretend to be a student to get access but I'm not sure. Good luck.

Possibly but probably not exclusively. It's worth a look. They should have career offices that might give you company names/leads.
