Bye bye, summer!  :\\\'(

I think Amble can kiss it goodbye for now... but I bet it will come back soon.  8)

Oh it's still nice here today, but more like spring again, than summer - there's a breeze & it's noticeably cooler than the last couple of days, although not by much.  But I do see some rain clouds hovering.  :-\\\\

Steve says next period of nicer weather (according to the long-range forecast) is for mid-June.

See, we've got a bank holiday weekend just coming up end of this week & that pretty much guarantees the weather is going to be pants.  ;)

I'm holding out hope that I may actually see it up this way, at somepoint this year!

Feelin' HOT HOT HOT here in Cornwall! Again! That's a lot of hot days in a row! I got a sunburn yesterday on the beach, so am making myself stay away today - but I'd love to be there.

The next time some idiot advises newbies not to bring their summer clothes with them, I'm linking to this thread. Hah.

Not to be discouraging, but they just said on the news that it might snow in Scotland. :-X :-[

No way!  It's ending up warmer today, I think, than what they forecast - sooooo...maybe they're going to be wrong about the rest of the week?  :)

I do tend to 'LOL' when I hear native Brits saying 'OMG it's absolutely boiling!'...when it's all of 75 degrees out...  ;) :D

Awesome. Surely that must only be high up in  the mountains. I hope.  But that means it won't be particularly warm down from the mountains either.

I don't know why, but 75 here feels hotter than 75 in the US. Way hotter. So I absolutely understand what they mean. And, trust me, I know heat - I've lived in Louisiana and Mauritius! But this is a different kind of 75.

I don't care what kind of hot it is as long as it stays this kind of weather for a while because you all know winter will be here soon enough.  ;) ;D

Yes, I think it's headed this way down from yours.  :P

Oh well - back to work tomorrow anyway.  I won't mind if it's a little cooler next weekend, as we're going to be doing some walking in the Dales.  With the weather at nearly 80 degrees this weekend, it was ideal for relaxing in the garden (or at the beach) with a cold drink, but it'll be nicer if it's a bit cooler for walking.  :)

Yes, but it is a damp heat???? This is a pun because in Las Vegas when it is 110 degrees and when people complain they response  "well it is a dry heat" Does that make it any cooler? ???

Hee hee - 110 degrees, now that's HOT!  75 (damp or dry, here or there) = just getting warm.  ;)
