Popping Over to Northern France for a Few Days?
« on: May 26, 2010, 09:21:57 AM »
Living so close to the S. coast, I feel I must take advantage of the proximity of France, and am pondering a 4- or 5-day holiday over there with the kids during half term next week -- avoiding Paris and instead focusing on the Northern bits (probably arriving at Dieppe).

Have you done this? If so, where would you advise me to go (or avoid)? Feel free to recommend towns, regions, hotels, restaurants, activities, or anything else that springs to mind.

I dont have suggestions BUT I think it sounds like fun.  Looks like you are adjusting if you are willing to travel and get out there!

Hey your profile needs updating if you aren't in Illinois any more. ;) Hope you are enjoying being back home.
