Hi All,

Just wanting to introduce me.... Serena....

I met Sam on line in September 2008, we started on line dating in Jan 2009 and well been on the screen ever since.

I visited the States in October/November last year kinda need to know it was real, being my first on line relationship.

He came to the UK 11th June and left last night to go back home, hardest thing we had to do was book his coach ticket back to heathrow Sending someone home who doesn't want to go is a nightmare.

We finally decided after hours of talking and racking our heads marriage is going to be the only option for us to be together.

but I am so glad I found this SITE!!!!

I feel less alone and realized I am not the only one which is encouraging

I know it seems impossible, but it can be done. It just takes both of you doing everything you can to make it happen. If you both want it bad enough, you will work it out. :)

Welcome!

Hi & welcome to UKY!

Yes, the dilema.  Unfortunately the UK nor the US have a "let's shack up" visa to make it easier on couples.   :-\\\\  I'm not too far from Doncaster; I live near Rother Valley.  Hope the time passes quickly 'til you're together again!

Hi Serena! You definitely aren't alone. My DH and I also met online and didn't get much time together in person before we tied the knot (we got married on the fourth in-person visit). Sometimes you just have to take the plunge!  :)

He managed to move me to Northumberland all the way from Dallas, Texas, and two years later, being together every day is even better than we thought it would be. So hang in there, it's not as impossible as you think.  ;)

well WebyJ has given me the light at end of the tunnel!!!

Since being EU Citizen I am fortunate to be able once we get married to exercise my EEA Treaty rights.  Which makes the whole process much easier.

I was trying to find away without having to make that plunge, since I am just finalizing my divorce, was not even thinking about re-marrying

I just recently got my EEA. I'm an American married to a German. So if you need any help, let me know! :)
