uk driving license - where to begin?

Hello,

My husband has just joined me in the uk and he wants to get his UK license as soon as possible, I was just wondering where to start.  He has his US driving license.  Does he need to apply for a provisional license and take the theory and practical test here?

Yes, he'll have to get his provisional and then take his theory and practical tests, just like any other new driver in the UK.
