Ah... Fall is here....

Well, the gray skies have moved into London this morning. There's a catch in the air, the sun and warmth are gone, and soon, the leaves will start falling from the trees. American football season, Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner.

But not to worry. In just 37 months or so, summer will be back.

I've been sunbathing in the garden, but had to come back inside because it was too hot!

I envy you britwrit as it is going to be 97 tomorrow with humidity in the 80 percentile and no relief in site AND this has been since June.  We are roasting on the east coast!

Ugh! I'd happily take 97º and sunny over 60º and rainy 

Its absolutely gorgeous up here today!!!! Warm, well as warm as northern Scotland can be, and sunny.  A nice contrast to the wet, cold, grey, cold, grey, wet weather we've been having.  It'll be back to normal tomorrow (cold and wet) and snowing  by next week.

No kidding! I honestly can't take it any more! I'm not leaving the house because it's just TOO hot to go sit in traffic (that never ends around here it seems) with the sun blaring down cooking me like a french fry in a french fry warmer!

Gorgeous here as well and should be decent enough for the weekend, so they say anyway.  It's as if summer has come back for a little visit.  I've been rather soggy the past few days so it is much appreciated.
