So he finally asked her!

Ever since my daughter's boyfriend asked us for our permission to ask her to marry him we've been on tenterhooks!  Finally on Saturday he asked her and gave her a beautiful ring!  We're all really pleased. The only downside is that he's off to Afghanistan on next Saturday (as a civilian mechanic working on the army vehicles) for a year so I can see tears on the horizon!

YAY!  And BOOO!  In that order.  I hope he stays safe while he is out there and they have a fabulous wedding!
