Hee hee, Katy. I couldn't help but notice you also 'acquired' one of the purple hospital blankets.

There are two things in life for which we are never truly prepared:  twins.

That was so beautifully written.  I really loved reading it.  Thank you for sharing it.  Rosemary is beautiful.  I could identify with so many of the feelings.  I struggled with being induced too, and I really hope I'll be able to get my water birth in the nicer hospital this go-around, but I also learned that either way, I'll be okay.  I really don't mind now, as long as my little one is healthy and strong.  Even though it was hard, at least now, I know I can do whatever I need to do.  Your story was really beautiful.  Thanks again!

Thanks guys. I really liked reading birth stories when I was pregnant, so this is a great thread. Good luck on the water birth, Cadenza, I hope you get what you want this time.

It is funny how there are specific details of the day you remember really well--like I vividly recall the small Crocs. And, yes, I acquired one of the purple blankets. My husband just waltzed out with it. Whoops. But that said, maybe let me husband stay with me while I'm in labour and I won't steal hospital property next time :)
