Freezing Herbs?
« on: August 14, 2010, 11:45:49 AM »
Ok I grew herbs this year, my first time EVER and honestly I don't know what to do with it all.
I have parsley, garlic chives, italian oregano and mint...all my cilantro already died ;-(

Obviously we have a small freezer (3 small drawers) so laying them on a baking sheet in the freezer and the putting them in a tin is out.  So how do you do it?

Right now I cut a bunch and washed it.  It is now on a towel drying.  I thought if I did bunches in saran wrap (rolled up) and then put in ziploc bags this might work but I have no idea.

Anyone do this at home?

chop them up and put in a bag...works ok with the ones we buy at the supermarket.
